Rediscover the Light of the World....

God's hiddeness is not an invitation for lamenting or mourning. God's hiddeness calls for our action, an invitation that requires action. God's hiddeness is an invitation of how to listen and see differently so that we might see God now, even in his hiddeness. It is worth lamenting that we live in this advent (in between) time. God's hiddeness prompts us to action. We must take the moments of God's hiddeness as a time to rediscover God, learn to listen and look differently, that even when God is hidden, we may have an epiphany.

We are always in the Christian life being challenged to rediscover God. And even as God is sometimes hidden, we are challenged to share that discovery with the world. We are invited to discover and rediscover Immanuel. The God who though sometimes is hidden, the word calls Him, Emmanuel, because He is God with us.
